I wanted to make Irish Soda Bread- because March brings out the "Irish" in me. Although I can imitate a Scottish accent better. Anyway, I didn't have any buttermilk to make my soda bread with, so I had to use this nifty substitute:
1Tablespoon vinegar to 1 cup of milk.
You could also chose 1/2 Tablespoon cream tartar to one cup of milk. There are two more ideas, but you must visit the original blogger to find them out :)
