Banana Crumb Muffins
The Girl Who Ate Everything

These muffins smell amazing while cooking. I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into one!! I'm pretty sure it's worth burning my mouth over :)

Banana Crumb Muffins
adapted from

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bananas, mashed
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter


While your oven is pre heating to 375, combine all dry ingredients into your mixer. Mix together. Melt butter and beat the egg lightly, mash the bananas. Add them into the mixture and mix until fully combined.

place into cupcake pan (the original poster says 10, mine took 12) Next combine the topping. melt the butter and add it to the flour, brown sugar and cinnamon and mix until course. Sprinkle on top of muffins and bake for 18-20 minutes.

They taste just like banana bread, but portioned out & a little more sugar!
